These Terms and Conditions govern your use of SweeperParts.au and the purchase of products from us. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SweeperParts.au, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services or purchase our products.

3. Products and Pricing

3.1 Product Availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without prior notice. Product specifications, images, and descriptions are provided for reference and may not represent the exact appearance of the product.

3.2 Pricing

All prices displayed on SweeperParts.au are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of purchase confirmation.

3.3 Errors and Omissions

We make every effort to ensure pricing and product information is accurate. However, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will notify you and give you the option to confirm your order at the correct price or cancel it.

4. Orders and Payment

4.1 Order Acceptance

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraudulent activity.

4.2 Payment Terms

Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched, except for approved trade account customers with established credit terms. We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Trade Account with approved credit terms (net 30 days)

4.3 Trade Account Terms

Trade accounts are subject to credit approval and ongoing review. Late payments may incur interest charges and may result in account suspension or revocation of credit terms. Standard trade terms are net 30 days from invoice date.

5. Warranty and Australian Consumer Law

5.1 Consumer Guarantees

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

5.2 Product Warranty

Unless otherwise specified, all aftermarket parts carry a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This warranty is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper installation
  • Products modified or repaired by unauthorized persons
  • Damage caused by failure to follow installation or maintenance instructions

5.3 Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, contact us at support@sweeperparts.au with your order number, product details, and description of the issue. We may require photographic evidence or return of the defective product.

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 Return Policy

We accept returns of unused products in original, unopened packaging within 30 days of purchase. To initiate a return, contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without an RMA number may not be accepted.

6.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom-ordered or special-order parts
  • Electrical components and consumables (unless faulty)
  • Products that have been installed, used, or are not in original packaging
  • Clearance or final sale items

6.3 Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a faulty product.

Return freight costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a defective product, incorrect item shipped, or other error on our part.

6.4 Change of Mind

For change-of-mind returns on eligible items, a 10% restocking fee may apply to cover handling and processing costs.

7. Shipping and Delivery

7.1 Shipping Coverage

We ship to addresses throughout Australia from our warehouse in North Ipswich, Queensland. Delivery times are estimates only and vary based on location, product availability, and carrier performance. Standard delivery is typically 1–5 business days from dispatch.

7.2 Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the size, weight, and destination of your order. Shipping costs will be clearly displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.

7.3 Risk and Title

Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We recommend inspecting all packages upon delivery and noting any damage on the delivery receipt.

7.4 Delivery Delays

While we make every effort to dispatch orders promptly, we are not liable for delays caused by courier services, weather events, industrial action, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Product Information and Fitment

We provide fitment information, OEM reference numbers, and technical specifications as a guide only. It is your responsibility to verify that a part is correct for your application before ordering. We recommend cross-referencing part numbers and consulting with a qualified technician if you are unsure.

While we validate aftermarket parts for dimensional accuracy and material specifications, variations in manufacturing tolerances may occur. We are not responsible for fitment issues arising from variations in vehicle specifications or modifications.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SweeperParts.au and its suppliers shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Damage to property or injury arising from use or installation of products
  • Any claims exceeding the purchase price of the product in question

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on SweeperParts.au, including text, graphics, logos, images, product names, and software, is owned by SweeperParts.au or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission. OEM part numbers and brand names are referenced for fitment identification purposes only and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988. Information about how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data is outlined in our Privacy Policy.

By using SweeperParts.au, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Account Security

If you create an account on SweeperParts.au, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of SweeperParts.au will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any concerns. If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, you may have recourse to applicable consumer protection agencies or dispute resolution services.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to SweeperParts.au. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
